Thanksgiving-Holiday Reminder: Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, we will not have our normal meal and meetings on Wednesday, November 27th, the night before.

Our traditional Holiday Meal is set for Sunday, December 8th, 2019 right after our morning service. Please be thinking about those special dishes and desserts you can bring so we can all celebrate the holidays together. After the luncheon fellowship, those who can, will stay to help decorate the facilities for the Christmas season.

Samaritan’s Purse / Angel Tree

The holiday season is rapidly approaching and with it comes two opportunities to show God’s love to those in need both locally and in other parts of the world. These two opportunities are the Angel Tree Ministry and the Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Box Ministry.
The Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Box Ministry – November 18th-25th are the dates for this year’s National Collection Week. Information on this year’s outreach is located on the table in the foxtrot. Be sure to stop by and pick it up. Shoeboxes are due back here at Beulah by Sunday November 24th. They will be collected and taken to Northside Baptist Church on Monday November 25th. If you have any questions please contact Karen Couch.
The Angel Tree Ministry – There are application forms for prospective angels on the table in the Fox Trot. The application forms for prospective angels need to completed and returned by November 24th to be processed. Angels will be ready for pickup from the church Christmas tree on December 1st. Gifts for the angels need to be turned in at the church by Sunday December 22nd for distribution on December 23rd. If you have any questions please contact Dell Morton.

Please be reminded that we collect food each month to support the Center of Hope. We can bring can goods and other non-perishables each Sunday or Wednesday during the month and place items under the display in the foxtrot. Karen Couch will deliver the food during the week following the last Sunday of the month.

During the October business meeting, our Pastor and Deacons shared that they have been praying about the church electing and affirming some additional men to serve the church as Deacons. This item has been added to the agenda for our business meeting on Sunday, November 17th for discussion, feedback, and possible action depending on the decision of the church family. If the church agrees with the recommendation, a process of nominations, screening, and election will begin. Everyone is encouraged to be present and take part in the discussion.
